 HistoryLogistic Leasing, LLC was formed in 1997 in Durham, NC to provide maintenance and repair services to a large local fleet, West Brothers Transportation Services. It quickly became apparent that many companies in the area had a need for a reliable, efficient and “around the clock” maintenance operation to take care of their vehicles. The facility was renovated and grew to a 15,000 square foot, 3 drive-through trailer bay, 4 tractor bay shop. In 1998, we opened a second full-service shop in Greensboro, NC, followed in 1999 by an additional full-service shop in Charlotte, NC. In 2003, the facility in Charlotte was replaced with a 4 drive-through bay plus 2 auxiliary bay facility, and we expanded to the Selma, NC area with a new shop to service the fleets in that area. In October, 2010, Logistic Leasing was acquired by James Brown Contracting, Inc. (Brown Trucking Co.) and all of Brown’s maintenance operations were merged into Logistic Leasing, enlarging both our footprint in the Southeast, and our full-service maintenance capabilities. Now, with 10 full-service and captive dedicated shops and several more mobile road service trucks in other locations, Logistic Leasing is positioned to provide superior fleet management and maintenance services throughout the Southeast, and nationwide, through the NationaLease network of quality shops.
